Warum gibt es nur noch so selten Eisblumen am Fenster?
Dafür sind sie inzwischen meist zu gut isoliert!
Vielleicht sind die Scheiben auch zu sauber; denn es braucht die Staubteilchen als Kristallisationskeime.
Außerdem sind frostige Temperaturen notwendig und dazu Wärme und etwas Feuchtigkeit in der Wohnung.

Why are ice flowers so rare at our windows nowadays?
They are too well isolated in the meantime!
Perhaps the panes are too clean for them, too, for some dust particles are necessary for their development.
Besides, icy temperatures are important outside and warmth and some dampness inside.
