Nach einem Fernsehabend über den Dirigenten Mariss Jansons hat mich die Musik von Beethoven nach langer Zeit voll ergriffen. Jansons dirigierte Beethoven 5. Klavierkonzert mit Daniel Barenboim als Pianist. Ob jemand unter Euch das auch miterlebt hat?
Es war für mich ein fantastisches, mitreißendes Erlebnis! Das sind doch alte Kamellen? Für mich nicht. Immer wieder neu ist das für mich. Jedenfalls versuche ich seitdem, ihm malerisch näher zu kommen:

After a TV evening about the conductor Mariss Jansons the music by Beethoven has excited me anew after a long time. Jansons conducted the fifth piano concerto with Daniel Barenboim playing the piano. Did anybody else among you witness it, too?
It was an extraordinary, thrilling experience ! This is old stuff? Not for me! It’s always new for me . Since then I’ve tried to approach his music more by painting, anyhow:
